After completing the wiring and start-up of the system, fit the cover and secure it with screws (Fig. 17).

DANGER WARNING! IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
For personal safety read the following instructions carefully.
1. The automation must be installed professionally by personnel with qualifications as envisaged by legal requirements
and in compliance with the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC and the standards EN 13241-1, EN 12453 and EN 12445.
2. Check that the existing structures (posts, hinges, leafs) are sufficiently robust to withstand the forces generated by
the motor.
3. Check that adequately robust mechanical stops are fitted at the gate opening and closing end points.
4. Check the state of any cables that are already present in the system.
5. Perform an analysis of the risks associated with the automation and adopt adequate safety and signalling devices.
6. Install controls (e.g. key selector) in such a way that users are not in a danger zone.
7. After completing installation, check the automation's safety, signalling and release devices several times.
8. Fix the CE label or plate containing danger information and identification data to the automation.
9. Consign to the end user the operating instructions, the safety warnings and the EC declaration of conformity.
10. Make sure that users have correctly understood the automatic, manual and emergency operation of the
automation.
11. Inform and instruct users in writing (for example in the operating instructions):
a. Of the presence of any unprotected residual risks and of foreseeable improper use.
b. To disconnect the power supply when cleaning in the vicinity of the automation or carrying out small-scale
maintenance work (e.g. repainting).
c. To check frequently that there is no visible damage to the automation and if there is to inform the installer
immediately.
d. Not to allow children to play with the automation's controls.
e. To keep the remote controls out of the reach of children.
12. To draw up a maintenance programme for the system (at least every 6 months for the safety devices) and to record
the work performed on a special register.
