HOW TO CHANGE THE DECELERATION ZONE DURING CLOSING
The control unit already has a deceleration zone programmed (default value).
This space can be changed during the time programming procedure.
Procedure:
1-Enable the deceleration function by setting dip-switch no. 9 to ON (19 in fig. 15).
2-After point 10 in "Time programming", press the S/S button again when the desired deceleration zone begins.
3-The control unit stops the gate momentarily to indicate that programming has been completed, and then continues
the closing manoeuvre.
4-Continue programming by following points 11 and 12.
* The memorised values remain stored until a new programming cycle is performed.
ADJUSTING THE RATE OF DECELERATION
The rate of deceleration of the automation can be adjusted using the following procedure:
- with the gate stopped, press STOP/PROG briefly; the LD1 LED begins to flash
- the speed of flashing of the LED indicates the chosen rate of deceleration:
1 flash per second: deceleration rate 1 (slowest)
2 flashes per second: deceleration rate 2 (higher than rate 1)
3 flashes per second: deceleration rate 3 (higher than rate 2)
4 flashes per second: deceleration rate 4 (highest)
- press the STOP/PROG button to increase the deceleration rate; after reaching level 4 it returns to 1
- press the S/S button to confirm and memorise the selection; if you do not wish to confirm and memorise the
selection, wait for the control unit to stop flashing: the previous selection will remain in the memory
NOTE: it is important to choose a deceleration rate that is appropriate to the gate's weight and the degree
of friction present in the automation.
FUNCTION SETTING (table 3)
The various options described can be selected using the function dip-switch (19 in Fig. 15)
- Remember that to memorise a change in settings on the control unit, it is necessary to turn the power supply off
and then back on or momentarily short the two control unit reset pins.
