NOTES ON WORK AND PAUSE TIME PROGRAMMINGPAUSA
This procedure is compulsory in new installations, to ensure that the control unit memorises the manoeuvre times and
a number of parameters used for obstacle detection.
During the self-learning phase, the key S/S is pressed repeatedly (14 in fig 15). Alternatively the S/S control can be
used (terminal 14, fig. 16) or the radio transmitter memorised on the first channel of the receiver.
Important notes before programming:
- Power up the control unit and check correct operation of the command inputs by means of the corresponding LEDS
(the N.C. contacts must have the LED lit, and the N.O. contacts must have the LED off).
- Position the speed trimmers at the centre to obtain an average value.
- Clear the gate movement area.
PROGRAMMING TIMES
Procedure:
1- Position the gate at mid travel.
2- Press and hold PROG to reset, and use a screwdriver to short the Reset jumper (17 in fig. 15).
3- Keep the PROG key pressed.
4- After three seconds the LD1 LED lights up. After starting the programming procedure, release the PROG
button.
5- Press the S/S button to start the self-learning process. The gate starts with a closing manoeuvre.
6- When the closing manoeuvre is completed, the gate stops automatically.
7- After a few moments the gate starts with an opening manoeuvre.
8- If a mechanical stop is fitted on the opening manoeuvre, go directly to point 9) otherwise press the S/S button
when the desired opening point is reached.
9- The gate stops and the pause time memorisation phase begins.
10- If automatic reclosing is not used, press S/S immediately. Otherwise wait for the required pause interval then
press S/S. The motor begins the closing manoeuvre.
11- Gate completely closed
12- End of programming (the control unit sets automatically to normal operating mode).
* The memorised values remain stored until a new programming cycle is performed.
