ADAPTABLE LUMBAR
IMMOBILISATION BELT
Properties :
• Removable rigid dorsal corset (a).
• Ventral panel (b).
• High, elastic fabric providing strong compression (1).
• 2-part fastening system (2).
• Additional straps enabling easy adjustment as needed for sitting or standing (3).
• Anatomically shaped to suit men or women.
• Improved comfort due to a 3D knit.
Indications :
• Stabilization following surgery or immobilization (corset).
• Tiered compression of the dorso-lumbar vertebrae.
• Acute lumbar pain.
Contraindication :
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Fitting instructions :
Immobilisation phase
• Position the corset in the belt using the Velcro system (widest part downwards).
• Attach the ventral panel horizontally to the lower left section of the belt using the
Velcro system.
• Put on the belt, with the inside label upwards.
• Fasten, starting with the lower velcro tab then the upper velcro tab.
• Simultaneous pull the additional straps to achieve the desired compression level,
fasten the right strap first and then the left strap.
• These additional straps can be fastened either at the top of the belt or the bottom, as
you prefer.
Mobilisation phase
• Remove the corset and insert the dorsal stays in the places provided for this purpose
on the inside of the belt.
• Put on the belt following the same steps as for the immobilisation phase.
Precautions :
• Follow the advice of the health professional who prescribed or supplied the product.
• It may be necessary to reshape the stays.
• Consult your health professional if discomfort occurs.
• Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
• For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product for another patient.
Washing instructions :
• See product label.
• Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (products containing
chlorine)
• Squeeze out excess water.
• Dry away from heat sources.
