6.7. Changing the sewing direction

 f you want to change the sewing direction at the corners of the material,
proceed as follows: stop the machine and turn the hand wheel (21) until
the needle (26) is lowered into the fabric.
 Raise the presser foot (28).
 Turn the fabric around the needle (26) to change the direction as desired.
 Lower the presser foot (28) and continue sewing.

6.8. Cutting the thread

Cut the thread with the thread cutter (13) on the side of the front flap or with
a pair of scissors. Leave a thread length of around 25 cm from the eye of the
needle.
