3.5 Danger of suffocation
Exhaust gases of automobiles containing carbon monoxide (CO),
an odorless and colorless gas. After inhalation, carbon monoxide
leads to oxygen deficiency in the body.
You must take special care when working on wells work, since
some parts of the exhaust are more
heavier than air, depositing on the bottom of the wells. Also
caution with vehicles with LPG systems.
Security measures:
• Always ensure good ventilation and aspiration (especially in wells work).
• In enclosed spaces, plug and connect the suction device.
Attention: Some special functions, if performed incorrectly, can damage the
vehicle system as well as the equipment. This requires technical training of
the equipment.
Some readings are taken with the car and engine running, specific user
training is required.
