Remove the ignition key prior to performing any clean-
ing and maintenance tasks!
9.8.1
Cleaning/replacing dust filter cartridges
1 Side brushes
2 Screws
Loosen 4 screws and remove the side brushes.
Insert new side brushes and fasten with four screws.
9.7.1
Converting the side deck
The conversion to the side scrubbing deck or side
brushes deck must be accomplished by Customer Ser-
vice; the sweeping level and the cleaning parameters
must be reset after the conversion.
Park the vehicle on a level surface.
Turn ignition key to "STOP" and remove it.
Activate parking brake.
CAUTION
Health hazard!
Wear a dust mask when working around the dust filter.
Observe safety regulations on the handling of fine par-
ticles.
Wear an eye shield!
ATTENTION
Do not use any hard objects for cleaning!
The dust filter cartridges are responsible for filtering and
retaining the dust suctioned up by the suction turbine dur-
ing sweeping.
Dedust the dust filter with the filter dedusting switch
–
each day during and after cleaning (see Chapter
"Cleaning | Dedusting the dust filter".
Remove and clean the dust filer from time to time.

Complete replacement every 1500 operating hours!

Open the screw and tilt the suction blower cover to-
wards the rear.
