Escutcheon
2. Mount the Valve
Remove the caps from the pipe nipples. Do not allow the nipples
to rotate.
Verify that the pipe nipples extend between 1-9/16" (4 cm) and
1-3/4" (4.5 cm) from the finished wall.
Thread an escutcheon onto each pipe nipple until flush against
the wall. Apply sealant between the escutcheon and the wall.
Insert a washer into each valve inlet.
Slide the valve onto the pipe nipples.
