Warnings Presentation Installation
WARNINGS
INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Heavy unit, handle with care:
1/ Install the appliance in a frost-protected room. If the
appliance is damaged due to the blockage of the safety
unit, the warranty will not apply.
2/ Make sure the wall on which the appliance is mounted
can support the weight of the appliance filled with water.
3/ If the appliance is to be installed in a room or location
where the ambient temperature is constantly higher than
35°C, provide for sufficient ventilation.
4/ When set up in a bathroom, do not install the appliance
in areas V0, V1 and V2. If the dimensions do not facilitate
any alternative, installation in area V2 is
permissible.
5/ The device is not intended to be used
in altitudes exceeding 2000 meters.
6/ Place the unit in a location with easy
access.
7/ Refer to the installation figures in the «Installation»
section.
How to affix suspended units: In order to facilitate the hea-
ting element's replacement, allow at least 480 mm under-
neath the end fittings of the water heater's pipes.
The clearance required for the appliance's correct instal-
lationis specified in the "Installation" section.
The vertical water heater on a base must (in accordance
with Article 20 of EN 60335-1) be fixed on the ground
using a fixing system provided for this purpose use.
