Warnings
Connect the safety unit directly to the cold water inlet.
Usually, the cold water network pressure is below 0.5 MPa - 5 bar. If this is not
the case, provide for a pressure reducer installed at the water inlet downstream
the meter (recommended setting: 0.35 MPa). Never install the device directly at
the water heater.

Tips and recommendations
If the taps have not been equipped with thermostatic mixers, install a temperature limiter
at the hot water outlet to reduce the risk of scalding:
•
For bathrooms, the maximum tap water temperature is 50 °C.
•
In all other rooms, the maximum tap water temperature is 60 °C.
For regions with water having a high mineral content (Water hardness - Th>20°f),
water treatment is recommended. With a water softener, the hardness of the
water must remain above 8°f. The water softener does not give rise to a waiver
of our warranty, provided that it is approved for France by CSTB and set in ac-
cordance with good engineering practices, checked and maintained regularly.
