phase connected to probe tip L1, the phase
sequence is right-handed. The small display
indicates "L1". If this is not the case, there is a
left-handed field. The voltage indicator should
give a reading of approx. 400 V. If ol/L1" appe-
ars and the only reading is 230 V, only one
phase conductor is connected.
7.) Continuity testing
Bring the probe tips into contact with the
conductor, fuse, etc. that is being tested.
With resistances of 0-500 k the "Rx/ " LED
lights on and an acoustic signal sounds.
8.) FI/RCD trigger test, PE (zero conductor
test)
The Elmo Multi-Tester LED is equipped with an
automatic load, which permits the throughput
testing of FI/RCD-safety switches without trigge-
ring. The initial task is to carry out testing bet-
ween L (phase conductor) and N (zero conduc-
tor) (approx. 5 s). With immediate connection,
L can be tested against PE (earth/ground).
The network voltage is indicated. If this is not so,
the FI/RCD safety switch is triggered
(max. 30 mA).
9.) Battery replacement
To replace the batteries, release the screw
under the main casing and pull the battery
compartment cover downward to remove.
Observe the correct polarity when inserting the
new batteries.
Note: Batteries should not be disposed of as
normal household waste. Take them to an
approved collection point.
