Before starting up the machine, make sure
you read this entire manual and are familiar
with the operation of this machine.
The working area must be completely clear,
well lit and all safety hazards removed.
Any persons not involved in the work should
leave the area.
Use only blades marked with a maximum
operating speed greater than the blade shaft
speed.

ASSEMBLY
•
Attach the Handle Bars (1H) by inserting both Handles
(1H) into the square holes, and then securely tighten
the Knobs (1I).
•
Attach Front Pointer assembly (3C) with capscrews.
Tighten the hex nuts to prevent the capscrew from
turning. Make sure the Pointer (3C) rotates freely.
•
The 15 horsepower electric motor model (EC II-15E)
DOES NOT INCLUDE POWER SWITCHES due to
the wide range of switch specifications and local
requirements.
WARNING:
provided by the purchaser so the EC II-15E
will comply with all local and national electrical
requirements. DO NOT use the EC II-15E
without installing the proper power switches
before operating the saw!

The battery
is shipped from the factory with the
terminals wrapped in protective tape. The following
steps MUST be taken to make the electrical starting
system of the engine work.
1. Remove the tape from the battery terminals and
the battery cable ends.
2. Connect the POSITIVE (+) red battery cable end
to the POSITIVE (+) battery terminal . Tighten the
capscrew and nut on the cable end securely to
ensure proper electrical contacts.
WARNING: When tightening the POSITIVE
(+) red battery cable end, DO NOT contact the
NEGATIVE (-) battery terminal with the wrench
or other metallic object. This could cause an
electrical short circuit and ELECTRICAL
SPARKING, OR AN EXPLOSION OF THE
BATTERY!
3. Connect the NEGATIVE (-) black battery cable end
to the NEGATIVE (-) battery terminal . Tighten
the capscrew and nut on the cable end securely
to ensure proper electrical contacts.
