FILTER BAg ANd CLEANER CRANK ASSEMBLY

TOOLS REqUIREd
• ½" wrench
• To attach the filter cleaner crank (D), orient the
rectangular hole in the crank with the rectangular
shoulder on the pin at the top of the filter. See
Fig. 12
• Secure the crank handle using a 5/16" x ¾" hex
head bolt and 5/16" flat washer.
• To install the filter bag, first remove the spring-
loaded band clamp (A) located at the bottom of the
filter by moving the locking latch all the way to the
left. This will release the spring-loaded band clamp.
See Fig. 13
• Position the filter bag (B) over the bottom of the
filter and re-attach the spring-loaded band clamp
making sure the top of the bag overlaps the top of
the clamp all the way around.

INLET SPLITTER ATTAChMENT

TOOLS REqUIREd
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Slide the inlet splitter (C) over the dust collection
port. The warning label should face up.
• Align the holes in the inlet splitter with the holes in
the dust collection port and attach using three M4
x 12mm pan head screws. See Fig. 14.
NOTE: Do not over-tighten sheet metal screws or you
may damage the inlet splitter.
• Attach the two 4-inch port covers to the inlet
splitter by rolling the rubber ring over the port
and fitting the cover over the port opening.

NOTE: While this step can be accomplished with a
single person, it is easier with two; one to position the
filter bag and another to re-attach the clamp.
