8 - PRINTER CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The Espas 20 parking system has been designed and built to work for many years without
any faults provided the few required maintenance operations are carried out carefully and
frequently.
ATTENTION! Clean the printing unit after disconnecting the electrical supply to the sta-
tion
Cleaning the printing unit
It is advisable to keep the printing unit as clean as possible since it is the core of the station;
follow the instructions carefully and carry out maintenance every 8000 tickets printed.
1 - Lift the print head by pressing the blue lever then remove the paper from the back of the
printer.
2 - Correct maintenance requires the printer to be removed without disconnecting the
data and supply cables. Unscrew the fixing knob underneath the printer, remove the
equipment from the support, placing it in a comfortable position for cleaning.
