INSTALL THE SEATPOST

Your seatpost must be inserted into the seat tube a
minimum of 80 mm or the minimum amount specified by
your frame manufacturer; whichever is greater. Torque
the seat clamp device to the frame manufacturer's
lowest specification. Do not exceed 6.7 N·m
(60 in-lb) as this will prevent the seatpost from
functioning properly.
WARNING - Minimum Insertion
You must install your seatpost so that the
minimum required seatpost length is inside
the frame's seat tube. Installing the seatpost
with less than the minimum length required for
insertion can cause damage to the seatpost and/
or bicycle frame which can cause the seatpost and/
or bicycle frame to fail, which can lead to serious
injury and/or death.
5 INSTALL THE SADDLE TO THE SEATPOST
Make sure the saddle rails are seated in the
grooves between the top and bottom clamps.
NOTE - The top clamp does not need to be
completely removed to install the saddle.
