PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
With the AL-KO pivoting drawbar, you can reduce
the trailer length by approximately 1.20 m.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Attention: tripping hazard when
the drawbar is pivoted.
Apply safety labelling and
warning instructions.
CAUTION!
Before every journey and every pivoting
action, check:
Is the anti-pivot protection enga-
ged?
Is the drawbar connection free of
play?
ASSEMBLY
Drawbar bolted to axle
Bolt the drawbar bolted by means of a M16
8.8 hexagonal bolt (1-a).
Bolt the drawbar by means of two M16 8.8
hexagonal bolts (1-a).
Tightening torque: 170 Nm

Bolt the drawbar to the frame
Bolt the frame by means of two M16 8.8 he-
xagonal bolts (2-a).
Tightening torque: 170 Nm
OPERATION
Pivoting drawbar type K26-S
1. Secure the trailer using chocks
2. Lower the support legs (3/1).
3. Raise the support wheel (3/2).
4. Pull the anti-pivot protection (5/1) out to the
stop.
5. Turn the anti-pivot protection through 90°, and
fix against the edge of the housing (5/2).
6. Release the locking pin by turning knob (6/1)
anticlockwise.
7. Pull out the locking pin (7).
8. Pivot the drawbar through 90°
preferably to the right (8/1) viewed in the
direction of travel (8/2).
9. Push the locking pin into the drawbar (9).
10. Protect the drawbar from swinging back or
colliding against the trailer.
Comply with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
Pivoting the drawbar, type K35-S
1. Secure the trailer using chocks
2. Lower the support legs (3/1).
3. Raise the support wheel (3/2).
4. Pull the anti-pivot protection (4/1) out to the
stop, and hold it in position.
5. Release the locking pin by turning knob (6/1)
anticlockwise.
6. Pull out the locking pin (7).
7. Pivot the drawbar through 90°
preferably to the right (8/1) viewed in the
direction of travel (8/2).
8. Push the locking pin into the drawbar (9).
9. Protect the drawbar from swinging back or
colliding against the trailer.
Comply with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
Positioning the drawbar, type K26-S I K35-S
1. Pull out the locking pin (7).
2. Position the drawbar straight (10).
3. Insert the locking pin.
