contact with the piping or touch the pump;
please ensure that it is protected from damp.
- Check the protection of the line, the supply voltage required and
the frequency of the network.
The circulator must be connected to the mains through a switch
with at least 3 mm opening distance at each pole.
The socket outlet must be equipped with an earth terminal
(standard NFC 15-100).
- Once the electric connection has been made, replace the
terminal box cover.
6. STARTING
6.1 Filling – degassing (See E)
CAUTION !
Never run the HOMESON kit with NO WATER.
- Open the valves on either side of the HOMESON kit and fill the
system completely with the G
- For the heat insulated version, deactivate the ATS gate on the
system outlet insulation valve (See FIG. 1b - ref. 20) by giving the
screw a quarter turn anti-clockwise (screw slot vertical)
- Bleed the circuit at the highest point.
- Bleed the air in the circulator manually by giving a few unscrewing
turns, without complete removal.
There is a risk of scalding as the water temperature may be
high.
8 . RUNNING PROBLEMS
Before carrying out any work, SWITCH
CAUTION !
OFF POWER to the circulator.
INCIDENT
8.1. THE HOMESON KIT IS
NOISY.
8.2. THE CIRCULATOR DOES
NOT START.
1/2
inlets provided.
CAUSES
a) Air present in the circulator :
b) Suction pressure too low :
c) Noisy water flow :
d) Foreign bodies in the wheel :
a) The shaft is jammed by dirt after
a prolonged stoppage :
b) No electricity supply to the
circulator :
c) The capacitor is defective :
d) Foreign body in the wheel :
- Screw back once water appears and there are no more air
bubbles.
- For the heat insulated version, reactivate the ATS gate of the
system outlet insulation valve (See FIG. 1b - ref. 20) by giving the
screw a quarter turn clockwise (screw slot horizontal).
- Power up the motor to put the HOMESON kit into service.
- The initial temperature of the system is set with the adjustment
button (See FIG. 1a - ref. 4) on the three-way valve (see mixing
curve FIG. 2b).
- Flow adjustment is done by changing the motor rotation speed
with the selector (FIG. 3).
There is a risk of burns on contact with the motor. Its running
temperature may reach over 100 °C.
6.2 Mains insulation (heat insulated version)
- Give the insulation valves a quarter turn clockwise (See FIG. 1b -
ref.17-18) The valve wheel fixing screw slot must be vertical.
7. MAINTENANCE
The HOMESON kit does not require any special maintenance while
running. After a prolonged stoppage, ensure that the circulator runs
freely.
a) Bleed the circulator: release the rear cap until all bubbles have
disappeared, then tighten the cap again. (Voir FIG. 4).
b) Increase pressure in the system.
Check that the three-way valve is not in the maintenance position.
c) Try using a lower speed.
d) Take the motor apart and clean the wheel.
a) Release the shaft: remove the rear cap. Use a flat screwdriver to turn
the drive shaft, then replace the rear cap (See FIG. 5) or activate the
degummer (when fitted) by pressing its centre with a screwdriver.
b) Check the motor connection.
Check the system fuses.
c) Exchange it. The characteristics are given on the rear plate (µF). Lift
the attachment clip of the capacitor wires to remove the wires. Insert
the wires of the new capacitor and press the clip to lock them.
d) Dismantle the motor and clean the wheel.
