Step 15. Verify printer setup
The easiest way to verify that the installation has been completed successfully is to print a
document from a software program.

If the document does not print correctly, check your setup and configuration. For additional

26 Printer Setup
Open a program of your choice. Open or create a simple document.
In the program, select the Print command.
Select the HP LaserJet 9040 or 9050 as your printer.
Make sure the correct printer name appears.
Print the document.
