REPAIR
- Add water in the pump and restart the self priming mode.
- Check the tightness on the pipes at the suction.
- Check the geometrical configuration of the installation.
- Contact a professional.
- Switch on continuous mode if it is absolutely required.
- Clean it or replace it.
- Pump set to run on load.
- Wait for the cooling of the motor and the automatic re-start.
- If the ambient Temperature is above 40° C, this is a normal protection of
the pump.
If the failure comes again, check that the motor turn (suction of air at
the opposite side of the suction pipe).
- Check that the air suction or air discharge are not closed or partially
closed.
If the failure still occurs contact a professional.
- Repare the leakage (a expansion vessel prevent from to much cycles).
- Unpriming limit of the pump.
- Repair the suction valve (or add one at the suction to avoid the disas-
sembling of the pump).
- Operation in cavitation limit (add a tank > 1 litre).
- Motor protection in case of major leakage that involves a number of
starts > 75 per hour.
- Repare the leakage or install a vessel ( 24 litres minimum ).
- Clean it or replace it.
- The failure provokes a small decrease of pressure every 20 s during a
long water catchments.
- Necessity to ask for a professional for repair.
