ENGLISH
- Open the suction valve (item 8).
- Unscrew the draining plug (item 2) on the pump casing.
- Use the bowl of the hydraulic trapdoor to fill completely the pump.
- Screw the plug back in.
- Keep the delivery pipe in a vertical position on a heigth of at least
50 cm up to priming of the pump, when the suction head is higher
than 7 m.
- Push the start button at least 3 seconds. The pump start in self pri-
ming mode. It is a continuous mode for 2 minutes 30 s. The pump
comes back in automatic mode after this self priming mode.
6.2 Starting up
- Open the discharge valve.
- The pump starts automatically at any tap opening
discharge.
- To check the performances of the pump, open a tap for an auto-
matic start, close it and re-open it at low flow in order to work on the
curve of the pump with the priming valve closed.
- Check the amps are lower or equal to the amps on the plating.
Nota : The pump stops automatically 20 secondes after the 0 flow
detection after running 60 s.
Pressure when pump stops, is then equal to the head of the pump +
suction pressure. In case of high variations of the suction pressure, it is
required to install a reducing valve at pump delivery.
Example: Silent Box 205 connected to town network at 1 bar => pres-
sure when pump stops = 6.5 bar.
7. MAINTENANCE
No maintenance is required during the working period.
Let the pump and the motor clean.
To prevent from shaft and hydraulic block, remove water during winter
period by removing the venting plug (item 3) and the filling plug
(item 2).The venting plug in front of the base is linked to the casing with
a flexible pipe. Turn it 1/4 and pull to remove the pipe from the plug.
Fill the pump before any re-start after maintenan-

7.1 Replacement frequency
This is only advice. The replacement frequency is linked to environ-
ment and conditions of use :
Temperature, pressure, type of liquid and number of start and stop for
the mechanical seal.
Load, ambient temperature, and number of start and stop for the
motor.

Mechanical seal
The mechanical seal doesn't need any maintenance during working
period. It must not work in dry run.
ATTENTION !
It must never be allowed to operate dry.
7.2 Adjustment of the starting pressure
If the static pressure is above the factory starting pressure ( 1,5 bars ),
the pump can't start automatically. You have to increase this level of
starting pressure. It's necessary to remove the On/Off button and with
a screwdriver screw carefully as far as the pump starts automatically.
The adjustment range is realised in only 360° as described in the fol-
lowing figure (See FIG. 6).
The potentiometer must be manipulated without

strength.
Replace the button after adjustment.
The starting pressure is adjustable in levels :
0,7 bar - 1,5 bar - 2,5 bars - 3,2 bars
Starting pressure Adjustment examples :
- use on water network : the static pressure can be unstable as far
as 2 bars. Adjust the starting pressure at 2.5 bars.
- Use on a well : The water height in the well is under 5 m and the
installation at the discharge is not important ( 10 meters of cupper
pipes for example ) : adjustment at 0.7 bars advised.
Nota : The impact pressure is not adjustable

7.3 Assembly - Disassembly

Unplug the pump.
ATTENTION !
Be careful not to mix part (See FIG. 6 - 7 - 8).
