__________________________________________________________________________ TIMING LIGHT
Do not unscrew the radiator cap before the engine temperature has lowered and
the cooling system is no longer pressurised.
Do not touch the high voltage wire when the engine is running.
Handle portable lights carefully and only use them if their metal guards are in
place.
Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from petrol, dust or metal chips.
Don't forget that the catalytic converter reaches very high temperatures that can
cause serious burns or start fires.
Make sure that there are no oil stains, rags, paper or other easily inflammable
material near the catalytic converter.

When working on batteries remember that:

Car batteries contain sulphuric acid and generate explosive gas. Therefore, always
observe the following precautions:
Always wear safety glasses.
Do not place tools on the battery. They could cause accidental contacts.
Before testing or recharging a battery, cover the openings with a wet cloth to
suffocate any explosive gas.
Avoid making sparks when attaching the cables to the battery.
Do not splash the electrolyte on your skin, in your eyes or on your clothes as it is
extremely corrosive and highly toxic.
