ENGLISH
It is a test to verify the seal of the chamber or the vacuum leakages (accordingly to the EN
13060: 2009). The aim of the test is to verify that, during the cycle, there are no air
leakages through the seals of the chamber (gaskets, valves, etc.) or through the same
chamber or other critical components (radiator, pneumatic circuit, etc.)
The cycle has to be carried out with empty chamber. The proper cycle has to be selected.
The autoclave carries out the cycle automatically, following accurate technical procedures.
As a first operation, the autoclave activates the vacuum pump (F) and the status of EV5
change in on, until the end of the phase of the VACUUM TEST.
Up to the reaching of -0.2 bar, the air is suctioned from the chamber of sterilization,
through EV2 (on). Then, after the reaching of -0.86 bar, the air is suctioned from the
chamber of sterilization, through EV3 (on – EV2 off). During the phase of reaching of
vacuum, EV6 activates and deactivates for cooling and for cleaning the surface of the
membranes of the vacuum pump.
