1. Start the "TPA Startcenter" software on the
PC/laptop.

The "TPA Startcenter" software must be ac-
tivated on the PC/laptop in order to pair and
activate the Bluetooth link.

reason for this may be, that more than eight
Bluetooth devices have been found. In this
case the Bluetooth devices, which are not
being used, must be shut down.

The vehicle database is also updated. The soft-
ware update is always started beginning with

Information in the case of any
faults with Bluetooth
Fault
The PC/laptop is not rec-
ognized as a Bluetooth de-
vice by the TPA 200.
Win 7 and Win 8:
If KTS modules and
ESI[tronic] 2.0 are used,
the PC/laptop is not rec-
ognized as a Bluetooth link
by the TPA 200.

Bluetooth range problems
between the TPA 200 and
PC/laptop.

Information in the case of any
faults
Fault
The sensor cannot be read, be-
cause for example the battery volt-
age of the sensor is too low, or
because only three of the four sen-
sors are detected.
The sensor cannot be pro-
grammed.

Remedial measure
Check the Bluetooth set-
tings on the PC/laptop:
In the Options tab in the
Search input box the op-
tion for Bluetooth devices
can determine this PC/
laptop must be activated,
and in the Links input box
the option for Bluetooth
devices can establish a
link with this PC/laptop
must also be activated.
If KTS modules and
ESI[tronic] 2.0 are used,
the "DDC" software is in-
stalled on the PC/laptop.
The Microsoft Bluetooth
driver must be selected in
the "DDC".
We recommend use of
the Class 1 Bosch Blue-
tooth USB adapter (1 687
023 449).
Remedial mea-
