S A equipment is only to be operated in a fully mounted
and intact enclosure; if the enclosure is damaged, the
operation is not permitted.
S The equipment is only to be connected when de-ener­
gised.
S The potential equalisation of the system has to be
established according to the regulations of erection
applicable in the respective country of use (VDE 0100,
part 540; IEC 364-5-54).
S Circulating currents shall not be led via the enclo­
sures!
S Avoid any contact of the Digital AED Transducer with
corrosive media on its outside.
S Do not put stress on the system by vibration, bending
or torsion.
S The Digital AED Transducer is not to be used in sys­
tems where cathodic systems for corrosion protection
are in place. Although special precautions may make
that possible, the manufacturer has to be consulted in
each case. Parasitic currents are not to be led via the
construction.
S The formation of ice on the equipment has to be pre­
vented.
S Inside the potentially explosive atmospheres assembly
shall only be performed taking the locally applicable
rules of erection into account. The following conditions
have to be observed (incomplete):
- Assembly and maintenance to be done only if
atmosphere is Ex-free and while observing the
instructions valid in the operator's country.
- Additional precautions have to be taken if the pres­
ence of hydro-sulphide, ethylene oxide and/or car­
