S Earth connection outside
S Any metallic parts of the Digital AED Transducer can
be integrated into the equipotential bonding by a con­
nector here in compliance with the applicable national
regulations.
S When selecting and operating the equipment please
adhere to technical rules and standards. The following
opportunities are available:
- Direct connection of single-strand wires of up to
2.5 mm²;
- Direct connection of fine wires of up to 2.5 mm² or
- Connection of cross-sections of up to 6 mm² using
a ring or spade terminal with 5 mm drill hole.

General requirements

2.6.1

Intended use

The Digital AED Transducer is designed for use in weigh­
ing systems and for weighing purposes. Any other type of
use is deemed as unintended.
In order to ensure a safe operation, the Digital AED
Transducer shall only be used as stated in the instruction
manual. Where used, the legal and safety regulations
which apply to the specific case of use have to be
adhered to. Likewise, this condition also applies to the
use of accessory components and equipment.
The Digital AED Transducer is not a safety component if
used as intended.
