Standards Compliance

The Sandman Duo™ or Sandman DuoST™ device complies with the requirements of the
following standards:
• IEC 60 601-1:1988 + A1:1991 + A2:1995 + US/CAN deviations: Medical electrical
equipment. Part 1: General requirements for safety.
• IEC 60 601-1-2:2001 + A1: 2004: Medical electrical equipment. Part 1: General
requirements for safety. Collateral standard: Electromagnetic compatibility –
Requirements and tests.
• EN ISO 17510-1:2002: Sleep Apnoea Breathing Therapy Devices.
• EN ISO 8185: 2007: General Requirements for Humidification Systems.
• European Parliament Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain
hazardous substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment.
