Safety
− Ensure that the cord of the multi-slicer is not damaged,
tightly stretched or kinked and is not laying over sharp
edges.
− Do not let the cord of the multi-slicer hang over the edge
of table or counter.
− Never store the multi-slicer so that there is a risk of falling
into a bathtub or sink.
− Never reach to retrieve the multi-slicer if it has fallen in
water. In such case, immediately pull the plug. Have the
multi-slicer checked before using it again.
− Do not operate the multi-slicer with an external timer or
separate remote control system.
− Always turn the multi-slicer off and pull the plug out of the
socket:
• if you are not using the multi-slicer,
• before you clean the multi-slicer,
• before you assemble the accessories,
• before you move the multi-slicer,
• if a fault occurs,
• in the event of a storm.
− Do not use extension cords or sockets that do not have
sufficient capacity. Care should be taken to arrange the
cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
− Do not modify the plug in any way. The multi-slicer has
a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not
change the plug in any way.
− WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons, do not leave the multi-slicer unattended
while in operation.
