the different levels until the desired level is reached (Fig. 11).
Replacing the main filter and prefilter: If a filter alarm is output, the prefilter
must be replaced (Fig. 12). Please monitor the time between filter alarms.
This becomes shorter each time the prefilter is replaced. If you have
the impression that the change intervals are too short (this is a personal
impression), it is recommended to replace the main filter and the prefilter
(Fig. 13).
Alarm function
Filter clogging alarm: When the filter clogging alarm is tripped, the LED
shows red. Without action, the flow levels III and II change to one lower.
To replace the prefilter and main filter, press and hold the On/Off button for
2 seconds to turn off the blower filter unit. You can now change the filters.
Battery alarm: When the battery alarm is triggered, the LED shows red. A
beep is emitted every second; you can continue using the device for approx.
30 minutes.
Storage
The blower filter unit system and accessories must be stored in a dry place.
Protect it against sunlight, high temperatures, hydrocarbons and solvent
vapours.
Maintenance
Check the helmet regularly according to the operating instructions. Check
the face seal and the air nozzle for holes, cracks or other damage and make
sure that the parts are correctly positioned on the helmet (see instruction
manual). Do not use the system until all worn or damaged parts have been
replaced.
