AV COMPU LINK remote control system
The AV COMPU LINK remote control system allows you to operate JVC TVs and VCRs through
the center unit.
This system is equipped with the AV COMPU LINK-III, which adds a function to operate JVC's
video components through the video components terminals. To use this remote control system,
you need to connect the video components you want to operate, following the diagrams below
and the procedure on the next page.

Connecting TV and VCR
Connect the center unit to the TV and VCR through the same video terminals using one of the following:
• If the TV and VCR are equipped with S-video terminals

remote control system, connect the center unit to the
AV COMPU LINK III or AV COMPU LINK EX terminal.
DO NOT connect the center unit to the AV COMPU LINK
RECEIVER/AMP terminal.

• When connecting the center unit and a TV with the AV COMPU
LINK EX terminal by using a component video cord, you cannot
use the automatic selection of TV's input mode (see page 61).
• To use the automatic selection of TV's input mode correctly (see
page 61), select the correct "M.OUT" setting (see page 25).
