How to Delay Start of Cleaning
Delay Start is setting the oven timer to start the clean
cycle automatically at a later time than the present time
of day
NOTE: Before beginning, make sure the oven clock
shows the correct time of day,,
Quick Reminder--Delay
Start for Self-Clean:
1. Prepare the oven for cleaning.
2, Close and latch the oven door: If your range does
not have a latch, the door will lock automatically,
3, Press the CLEAN pad_
4o Press the ,& pad,. If you wish to change preset
clean time of 4 hours and 20 minutes, press the A
or V pad until the desired time appears,
5. Press the DELAY START TIME pad_
6. Press the A or T pad until the desired Start Time
appears in the display,
7. Press the START pad,
1. Follow the directions in the Before
a Clean Cycle section
2, Close the oven door and slide the
latch handle to the right as far as it
wilt go Make sure the oven light is
off. ff your range does not have a
latch, the door will lock
automatically
Never force the door latch handle, Forcing the handle
may damage the door lock mechanism.
3. Press the CLEAN pad

4, PresstheA
or V pad to set the
Clean Time
5, Clean Time is preset for 4 hours
and 20 minutes,, You can change
the clean time to any time between
3 and 5 hours, depending on the
amount of soil in your oven, If a
shorter Clean Time is desired,
press the V pad until the desired
Clean Time is displayed,
6. Press the DELAY START TIME pad.
7, Change the Start Time by pressing
the A or V pad,. The words
"DELAY CLEAN" wilt appear in
the display,
8. Press the START pad
The self-clean cycle will automatically begin,,
The word "ON" wilt appear in the display when
the self-clean cycle begins
When the oven locks, the words "LOCKED DOOR" will be
displayed and a short time later, the door will be locked in
position It will not be possible to open the oven door until
the temperature drops below the lock temperature°
When the clean cycle is finished, the word "CLEAN" will
go out in the display. When the oven has cooled, the
words "LOCKED DOOR" wit! go out and the door can
be opened,.
9. When the LOCKE_DDOOR light is off. slide the latch
handle to the left as far as it will go and open the door
If your range does not have a latch, the door will
unlock automatically
Never force the latch handle, Wait until the words
"LOCKED DOOR" go out in the display, Forcing the
latch handle may damage the door lock.
