The functions of manual operation OFF, MAX, MIN, MANUAL correspond to the func-
tions Ext. OFF, Ext. MAX, Ext. MIN and Ext. MANUAL.
Ext. OFF, Ext. MAX, Ext. MIN and Ext. MANUAL can be triggered through the digital in-
puts or through a bus system.

NOTICE
The "MANUAL" function replaces all functions including those which are
controlled via a bus system.
If a monitored bus communication fails, the control mode set through the
"MANUAL" function is activated. (Bus Command Timer)
Adjustable control modes for the MANUAL function:

The control module is equipped with a non-fading memory for saving the configura-
tion. All settings and data are retained no matter how long the module is disconnected
from the power supply.
If the voltage is present again, the pump runs using the default settings that were avail-
able before interruption.
All Stratos MAXO pumps are equipped with an integrated dual pump management. The
dual pump management has the following functions:
▪ Main/standby operation:
Each of the two pumps provides the configured flow rate. The other pump is available in
case of malfunction or runs after pump cycling. Always only one pump runs. The main/
standby operation is also completely active even for two similar single pumps in a
double pump installation.
▪ Efficiency-optimised peak-load operation (parallel operation):
In peak-load operation (parallel operation), the hydraulic output of both pumps is
provided together. In the partial load range, the hydraulic output is provided by only
one pump. The second pump is activated if the required hydraulic output increases to a
