6.9 ELECTRIC SYSTEM

- Battery
Check electrolyte level and keep it topped up so that the battery elements are
always covered. Add distilled water with the engine switched off and with no
naked flames nearby. Check battery clamp fixing performance and keep the
terminals greased with Vaseline. Keep the battery clean and if the tractor has to
be inactive for a long time, remove the battery and store it in a cool dry place.

6.9.1 With John Deere engine Max version

(with front braking system)
- Fuses:
Before changing a fuse, eliminate the fault that caused it to blow. The fuses
protect the following circuits (fig.28):
A= Braking plant power (10A).
B= Power supply for the parking brake (brake lights), hazard lights, 4WD control,
cab connector (15A).
C= Rh front / lh rear side lights, 8-way male cab connector, 7-pin power socket,
(10A).
D= Lh front / rh rear side lights, 8-way male cab connector, 7-pin power socket,
control panel light, registration plate light (10A).
E= Power supply for PTO switch, motor stop solenoid, 4WD relay, alternator
energizing, control panel (10A).
F= Power supply for diff lock switch, 8-way male cab connector (10A)
G= Lh lower beam (7.5A).
H= Rh lower beam (7.5A).
I = Auxiliary power socket (20A).
L= Horn, 7-pin power socket connector (10A).
M= Power supply for main beam blinker function, hazard light switch, 8-way male
cab connector, cab connector (15A).
N= Rh / lh main beam, main beam indicator light (15A).
The tractor has a main 60A knife-blade fuse situated in the internal part of the
fixed bonnet. This fuse protects the entire electrical system.
