4 Operating the equipment
4.1 Overview of controls
4.2 Starting the generator
If the operation of the generator is interrupted and the receiver pressure falls below 5 bar, disconnect the generator from the system and
follow the procedure specified in "Commissioning the Generator" on page 10. If the receiver pressure does not fall below 5 bar it is
recommended that the generator be run for 1 hour off line to allow the specified purity to be achieved.
When the generator is connected to the mains supply it will run through an initialisation
routine prior to going in to stand-by mode. This routine takes approximately 60 seconds to
complete.
Press
to start the generator. The menu will change as shown and the system check
LED will cycle between green and red.
Check the Mist–X exhaust to ensure that the drain valve is discharging on a regular basis. If
the drain valve is blocked the generator will not reach purity.
This generator is designed to run continuously without any user intervention.
4.3 Rapid Cycle
Rapid cycle is the function of flushing the system of impurities in order to allow the generator to reach desired purity faster. When enabled the
rapid cycle will activate every time the generator comes out of standby or economy mode. There is no gas delivered to the outlet port when
running in rapid cycle mode.
If the Rapid Cycle option has been fitted it can be enabled as follows:
From the "Standby menu" press
Use the
