The open collector outputs are TTL compatible and current-sinking, and can handle signals from 5
to 30 VDC at a maximum of 35 mA.
2.7.5.4.
Hardware Jumper Settings
The flow meter board has four sets of hardware jumpers, indicated in Figure 2-72.
2.7.5.4.1.
J5/J6 – Filter Enable
Each of the two input channels indicated in Figure 2-72 has a set of six jumper settings, which
function as shown in Table 2-17. Jumper locations 1-2 (enable) and 3-4 (disable) control the
15kHz low-pass analog filter, which is used to filter noise on the input.
The analog filter should be enabled in the following cases:
2.7.5.4.2.
J5/J6 – Input Switching Threshold
For each channel, this jumper has four possible positions (5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12), which set the
comparison voltage level for the input comparator. Voltage levels are:
