Thank you for choosing PiC indolor Air-
Compact, the aerosol therapy device de-
signed and produced using the most ad-
vanced technology.
For even easier use, please follow the in-
structions below on preparing and using
the AirCompact aerosol unit. However,
before proceeding, we strongly recom-
mend you read the short list of warnings
in this manual to make sure you have fully
understood how the device works.
AirCompact is a class IIa medical device,
which turns medicines in a liquid form
into an aerosol spray, to be directly ad-
ministered to the respiratory tract.
With the Sidestream chamber, medicines
penetrate the respiratory tracts more eas-
ily, thanks to the optimal size of the aerosol
particles. Sidestream significantly increases
particle flow and reduces therapy time, which
has a critical impact on the treatment's ef-
ficacy and its acceptance.
The device has been specifically devised
to make therapeutic treatment even more
practical and easier, whilst still guaran-
teeing the quality and safety standards
typical of all PiC indolor products.
Compact, light, practical and versatile, Air-
Compact satisfies the user's needs whatever
the situation. Its compact size and choice of
power supply - mains or rechargeable bat-
teries (included) – enable it to be used with
ease and comfort wherever required.
AirCompact comes with a practical shoulder
bag for easy transport and storage after use.
The AirCompact pack contains all acces-
sories for the most suitable type of treat-
ment: with a mouthpiece, nose fork and
mask (adult and paediatric masks).
AirCompact is reliable and easy to use, plus
no special maintenance is necessary.
The special air inlet filter traps dust and
can be replaced at regular intervals.

• Before use, carefully read the informa-
tion in this manual, and keep for future
reference.
• Device for aerosol therapy. Follow the
instructions of a medical practitioner as
to the type of medicine to use, the dose,
frequency and duration of inhalations. All
other uses apart from the intended use
of the device are improper and therefore
dangerous. Artsana cannot be held liable
for any damage caused by incorrect or
unreasonable use or if the device is used
in electrical systems that do not conform
to safety regulations in effect.
• After removing the device from its pack-
aging, check that it is intact, without any
visible damage that could have been in-
curred during transport. If in doubt do
not use the device.
