For those who have purchased the PGM-200R2U/200R2E
Except as described below, buttons, terminals and
functions are the same for the PGM-200R2U/200R2E
and the PGM-200R1 series. See the PGM-200R1

Operating Instructions.

Deleted function from PGM-200R1 series
The PGM-200R2U/200R2E do not have the following
buttons, terminals or functions found on the PGM-
200R1 series:
1. All buttons on the front panel except the POWER
switch.
2. SPEAKER OUT function (the audio function and
EXT SP (External Speaker) terminal on the rear
panel)
For details on the front and rear panels , see "Location and
Function of Parts and Controls" (pages 4 (EN), 5 (EN), 6
(EN)) in the Operating Instructions of the PGM-200R1 .
The following functions are not available in the
PGM-200R2U/200R2E:
1. All operations on the main unit except Power
ON/OFF.
All operations are done from the Remote
Commander RM-921 or Control-S.
• The Remote Commander RM-921 is not
supplied with the PGM-200R2U/200R2E.
Please purchase it separately.
2. Muting (MUTING)/Volume (VOL +/–)
The settings appear on the screen but they cannot
be controlled because there is no SPEAKER OUT
function.
Power indicator
The Power indictor (RGB) on the front panel lights up
when the power is turned on.
To turn off the Power Indicator, turn on REMOTE
ONLY from the operation menu.

Menus" (pages 10 (EN), 11 (EN)) in the Operating
Instructions of the PGM-200R1.

Additional notes

VGA TEXT mode
PGM-200R2U/200R2E does not have VGA TEXT
mode (31.5kHz/70.0Hz). (You can synchronize the
signals but they cannot be precisely adjusted.)
Scan converter adapter
When you install the Scan Converter Adapter BKM-
201SC in the PGM-200R2U/200R2E, make sure that
REMOTE MODE menu of the BKM-201SC is not
"OFF". Otherwise, the Remote Commander will not
function.
While the BKM-201SC is connected, you cannot
change the Index Numbers or the Remote Mode.
