Before connecting the machine to the mains, check:
The laws and technical regulations in
force at the moment of making the in-
stallation.
That the voltage indicated in the ma-
chine specifications corresponds to that
of the electricity supply to which the ma-
chine is going to be connected.
And understand:
That if the power cable is damaged, for
replacement it is necessary to contact
the manufacturer or a specialist techni-
cian
.
It is prohibited:
•to use extension leads of any kind;
•to replace the original plug;
•to use adapters.

3.5 Connection to mains electricity

That the connection point offers easy
access to the user so that he/she may
disconnect the machine without difficul-
ty from the electricity whenever neces-
sary.
That the connection of the power cable
to the mains must be of a permanent
type if the legislation so demands. Con-
tact a specialist technician to connect/
disconnect the cable to/from the mains
in accordance with the current regula-
tions.
