Fitting
CAuTIOn – Risk of irreparable damage.
Touching an incorrect pin can cause severe
damage to the circuit board.
Ensure that the battery connector is posi-
tioned correctly.
1.
Connect the battery connection (6) to the plug on
the circuit board and insert the battery pack (7).
2.
Fit the battery cover panel (5) using the appropriate
screws (4).
Connect the fan connection (2).

Fit the KTS 670 cover panel (3) using the appropria-
te screws (1).
5.
Calibrate the smart battery in the KTS 670 (see
instructions 1 698 979 992).

Test and replace
1.
Connect diagnostic cable correctly to the vehicle.
2.
Remove the power pack from the KTS 670.
"
Fuse F1 is OK, if the LED for the external supply lights
up.
"
Fuse F1 may be defective, if the LED for the external
supply does not light up.

Fuse on the circuit board

Procedure
Turn off the KTS 670.

Remove ventilator plate (loosen two screws).
3.
Pull out fuse F1 (see Figure) and check.

If the fuse is defective, insert a new fuse. If the fuse
is intact, contact customer service.

Replace ventilator plate and screw into place.
