POWER SOURCES

AC POWER: You can power your portable stereo system by plugging the AC po-
wer cord (1) into a wall power outlet.
Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage.
TO USE THE RADIO
1.
Press the [POWER] button (2) to turn ON the unit;
2.
Select the desired audio source with the [FUNCTION SELECTOR] (5);
3.
(Please see detailed instructions for each Source in the following chapters);
4.
Adjust the volume with the [VOLUME KNOB] (10) to the desired level;
5.
Press and hold the [POWER] button (2) to turn OFF the unit.
Note: When no sound is produced, the unit will switch OFF automat. after 10 mi-
nutes.

FM RADIO OPERATION

1.
Set the
[FUNCTION SELECTOR]
2.
Adjust radio frequency to your desired station
Note: For a better reception move the wired antenna (3) around.

TURNTABLE OPERATION

Note: When using the turntable for the first time, unscrew the transport screw
(6) located on the upper right side of the turntable.

Set the
[FUNCTION SELECTOR]
2. Place a record on the turntable. Place the EP adapter over the central spindle
when playing 45 rpm records;
3. Set the Speed Selector (8) to 33, 45 or 78 rpm according to the record;
4. Release the Tonearm Clamp, and remove the stylus protector;
5. Lift up the Tonearm with the Lift Lever (7);
6. Move the tonearm to the beginning of the record;
7. Lift down the Tonearm with the Lift Lever (7);
8. When the record is finished the tonearm will automatically return to the rest sup-
port and the plate will stop turning. To stop manually, lift up the tonearm from the
record and return it to the rest support.
Note: Do not stop or turn the platter manually. Moving or jarring the turntable
without securing the Tonearm clamp could result in damage to the Tonearm. Put the
protective cap on the stylus when not in use.

AUX-IN OPERATION

1.
Set the
[FUNCTION SELECTOR]
2.
Use one male to male 3.5mm jack cable (not included) to connect any external
audio device to the AUX-IN socket (4);
Note: Music control (play, pause, etc) must be done from your external device.
