Dear customer,
Before using your vacuum cleaner for the first time, please read these
instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Always observe the
safety regulations and remember to enclose this manual if you give the appliance
to another person.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

This appliance complies with the following European Directives:
73/23/EEC (amended by 93/68/EEC) Low Voltage Regulation
89/336/EEC (amended by 91/263/EEC, 92/31/EEC and 93/68/EEC)
• 230V ~ 50 Hz 12A
• This appliance is designed for domestic use and for vacuuming dry material
only. It must not be used to vacuum humans or animals.
• Do not pull on the cable to remove the plug from the socket or to move the
appliance. Do not run the appliance over its cable or press the cable against
sharp edges, or trap it in doors.
• Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the appliance if:
- The cable is damaged
- The appliance appears to be damaged
• Do not vacuum any of the following with this appliance:
- Liquids
- Wet or damp carpets
- Hard or sharp objects
- Matches, ash or cigarette ends
- Very fine dust such as cement dust, dust from printers or photocopiers,
plaster dust, etc.
• Protect the appliance from the weather and from damp and heat sources.
• Clean the appliance with a dry or lightly dampened cloth. Do not use water to
clean it.
• Before using the appliance, check that all the filters are correctly in place. Do
not use it if the filters are not in place.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before cleaning
it or carrying out any maintenance.
• The appliance must be used as described in this manual. In case of
breakdown, switch the appliance off. Do not attempt to repair it. Take it to an
authorised technical assistance service and ensure that original accessories
and spares are used.
• Do not use any electrical appliance with a deteriorated cable or plug. If the
cable is damaged, take the appliance to a technical assistance service for it to
be replaced.
• The manufacturers are not liable for any damage arising from incorrect or
irresponsible use and/or from repairs carried out by non-qualified persons.
• Hold onto the plug to prevent it from receiving any knocks when rewinding the
cable.
