Now that the shell is free, lift up on the orange shell pulling from the point
shown (left). The tab on the orange shell that slides inside the frame might be
a tight fit so if it does not easily slide out, try to pry between the frame and the
shell. Three inches should be enough clearance to get the generator out. Now
remove the rubber retainer from the top of the generator by sliding it upward
(Right).
It should now look like this (left). Tilt the top of the generator forward (right).
Now lift the generator up and out positioning as shown (left). Now use a small
flathead screwdriver to push the tab in on the power cord connector then
disconnect it (right). The generator should be free to completely remove now.
