12) Tighten the external dowels bolts (1 Fig. 7and 1 Fig. 9) with a torque wrench setting equal to100 Nm. If the bolts are idle, they should be
replaced with larger size ones.

3.4.2 HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS

WARNING. In this phase DO NOT carry aut electric connections on the lift.
CAUTION. Connecting the hydraulic systems correctly is of utmost importance.
• Connect the steel cross-pipe (3 Fig. 12) found inside the connecting crosspiece (1 Fig. 12) to their proper pipe fittings inside the two
columns (3A Fig. 12). The "G 50 H" and "G 50 HL" types with column extensions are supplied with two pipe sections and their respective
fittings to connect the column pipes to the crosspiece pipes.
• Remove the rubber drain pipe (4 Fig. 12) from the column P2, pull it to the hydraulic unit and connect it there to its proper pipe fitting
(7 Fig. 12).
• Finally, check that all the fittings are well tightened.
• Fix the cross-pipe (3 Fig. 12) in the centre of the connecting crosspiece, using the supplied clamps (15 Fig. 12).

3.4.3 ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS

CAUTION:
• The electric supply voltage must correspond to the one required by the control panel.
• e electric panel must be connected with a main cut-off switch installed in compliance with the regulations of the country where the lift
is used.
• The supply system of the electric panel must be in compliance with such regulations too.
• The minimum required power is 3 kW.
• The minimum required electric cables section is 4 mm2.
• Throughout this phase the motor should only work for a few seconds, in order to avoid damaging the hydraulic pump.
PROCEDURE:
• Connect the microswitch cable placed on the connecting crosspiece (5 Fig. 12) to the numbered terminal (6 Fig. 10) of column P1
• Connect the column P2's electromagnet cable to its numbered terminal on column P1.
• Connect the power supply cable (14 Fig. 12) that comes out of column P1 to the mains.
• Connection must be carried-out according to the regulations in force in the Country where the lift its being used
WARNING: Before going ahead with the next steps, read carefully the chapter 4.0 concerning the control panel
and gain a good knowledge of the machine function by carrying out the different operations without loading the
lift.
• Place the line under tension and check the Emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig.2) to make sure it is in the ON position (if necessary, rotate it).
• Press and release the button "UP" (22 Fig. 2). Make sure that the motor is rotating in the same direction as indicated by the arrow
