06 EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT

It is important to choose a correct location for the equipment so it has the adequate
distances to allow the maintenance services of each component of the equipment. Also
check if there is a drain nearby for the discharge of the rejection flow and pre-treatment
flow just in case.
1. Connect with pipe fittings according to model to the water inlet of the equipment.
2. Connect the reverse osmosis plant equipment drain to the drain outlet.
The drain must be empty to evacuate at atmospheric pressure.
Avoid the siphon effect due to the difference in diameters and connections of the
reverse osmosis equipment with the evacuation installation, mainly when the system
is at a standstill, it is recommended to install a vent or to make a similar effect.
3.Connect the permeate water outlet (osmotized production water) with the correct pipe
diameter according to the model of your equipment up to the storage tank.
4. Connect the wire from the electric buoy of the storage tank to the terminal block from
the distribution panel of the equipment (optional if the reverse osmosis equipment
feeds a storage tank so that when it is full, the plant receives a stop signal). The wire
of the electric buoy must be installed (so that the circuit is open in full tank) SEE
DETAILED SCHEME OF THE TERMINAL BLOCKS (standard RO ANNEXE 3)
5. The polypropylene filters with a filtration grade of 5μ are already placed in the multi-
tank container. SEE PREVIOUS SPECIFICATION SHEET.
6. Reverse osmosis membranes are already placed in the membrane housing. SEE
PREVIOUS SPECIFICATION SHEET.
7. Connect the electrical outlet to the distribution panel in the terminal block as indicated
in this manual. SEE ELECTRICAL SCHEMES (standard RO ANNEXE 3). Check
three-phase voltage 400 V ± 20 V voltage at 50 Hz frequency. The general panel and
structure must be properly connected to the ground.
8. The dynamic inlet pressure at equipment should be at least 2 bar. If the pressure
exceeds 3.5 bar, it must be reported to our customer service to ensure that there will
be no structural problems in the high pressure line.
9. The filters should be kept clean to ensure correct water supply (maximum pressure
variation of 0.8 bar). Check pressure gauges before and after the sediment filter.

06.1 POWER SUPPLY

The reverse osmosis equipment includes a power supply and protection electric panel
for the proper functioning of the equipment. SEE ELECTRICAL SCHEMES (standard
RO ANNEXE 3)
The power supply and protection electric panel is ready to connect the power supply wire
from the general electric supply panel.
Note: The power line that will supply the equipment must be protected corresponding
differential switch in the general electrical panel of the installation or the industry.
