Post-installation Checklist

Location of the installed unit:
Unit number (according to nameplate):
4.1 Installation Control
n For the CONVOTHERM OSC and CONVOTHERM OSP to operate smoothly, they must be
mounted and connected according to the information in Chapter 1.2 to 3.2 of this Installation
Handbook, in particular:
n Unit is horizontally level!
Connected to cold water on only one water connection!
n
Water pressure min. 2 bar - max. 6 bar flowing pressure!
n
With a water hardness over 18 ° dH, a water softener is recommended (information available
n
from your water company)!
è Only hydrogen ionic exchanger (partial decalization) ç
n Drain min. R 1 1/4" with U-bend, min. 5 % or 3° descending slope or open drain!
n Free flowing air to all cooling vents, air gap free of obstructions!
n Minimum distance of ½ meter to heat sources on all sides!
n Customer's electrical safety devices and phase rotation checked!
Motor direction correct (see arrow on motor or suction panel)!
n
No deep fat fryer or similar device in the immediate vicinity of the hand shower.
n
Attention! Danger! When water sprays in hot grease!
4.2 Informing the Customer
Please inform the customer of the following important points:
CONVOTHERM OSC customer has been informed about the cleaning and has been shown how
n
to clean the steam generator daily (even when a water softener has been installed)!
CONVOTHERM OSP customer has been informed of the control possibility and additional rinsing
using the steam generator outlet screw!
Customer has been informed and shown how to clean the steam bypass.
n
(A finger-sized hole close to the oven light) and the oven drainage (deshumification)!
n When loading containers with liquids or cooking good which becomes liquid or
cooking run-off during the cooking process, no higher shelf levels are allowed to be
used, than those which allow the user to be able to see into the inserted
containers (<1,60m ). Danger of scolding upon removal! Please warn the
user of this danger and check that an appropriate warning label is
fitted to the steamer!
Customer has been informed of the safety warnings in the Operator's Manual!

n Customer has been informed of the cleaning information in the Operator's Manual!
Use only Convotherm CONVOCLEAN or CONVOCLEAN forte for oven cleaning!
Customer has been informed that the inside door must be replaced if there is any damage such
n
as notches or cracks on the glass pane of the inside door as it may brake.
Customer has been informed that high cooking temperatures may cause the inside door to
n
slightly distort shortly when it is opened.
In case of damages that can be attributed to inappropriate set up, installation or cleaning, all warranties are
getting invalid!
The unit was installed according to the information in this
Installation Handbook and the customer was informed of
important points concerning the function and safety:
All points on the checklist have been checked off by the
installer. The installation of the unit is not allowed to be
changed without consulting an authorized expert.
