Starting playback automatically
(Auto Play)
You can set the auto play function which automatically starts
playback when the power of this unit is turned on. Using an
external timer with this feature enables timer playback.
1.
Carry out steps 1 to 3 in "Checking the firmware
version (Firm. Version)" (P.73).
The display changes for the system utility item selection.

Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/–, H or G on the
remote control) to select "Auto Play".

Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to display the current setting.

Rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/–, H or G on the
remote control) switches the setting between "Auto Play On"
and "Auto Play Off".
Memo
Initial setting is "Auto Play Off".
4.
Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) or COMPLETE.
The auto play function is set to on or off.
If the auto play function is set to on, the setting will be applied
when the power of this unit is turned on the next time.
• This unit plays data on the drive that had been last selected
when the power of this unit was last turned off.
• This unit plays in the playback mode (such as random play)
that had been last set when the power of this unit was last
turned off.
5.
To carry out timer playback, connect the power cable
of this unit to an external timer, then set the timer.
Memo
The setting for the timer recording takes precedence over the setting
for the auto play function. If the timer recording (P.32) is set, this
unit starts recording when the power of this unit is turned on the
next time even when "Auto Play On" is selected.
