17 Transporting
► You may wish to reduce the mowing duration and active
times when there is reduced grass growth due to heat,
cold or dryness.
► You must re-link the docking station and create a new
mowing plan if the size of the mowing area has been
changed or the docking station has been relocated.
16.6 Mowing Outside of Active Times
Mowing primary mowing areas
► In order to mow a part of the mowing area that can only be
reached via a corridor, carry the robotic mower to the
linked area.
► For immediate mowing, call up the "Start mowing"
command, @ 14.3.
The mowing operation starts immediately and continues
until the selected time.
► For time-delayed mowing, call up the command "Start
time-delayed mowing", @ 14.3.
The mowing operation starts at the selected start time and
continues until the selected end time.
► To end an active mowing operation manually, press the
STOP button on the robotic mower. To return the robotic
mower to the docking station, press the ON/OFF/Home
button on the docking station twice at any time.
Secondary areas
► Carry the robotic mower to the secondary area.
► Activate the secondary area, @ 15.3.
► For immediate mowing, call up the "Start mowing"
command, @ 14.3.
The mowing operation starts immediately and continues
until the selected time.
► For time-delayed mowing, call up the command "Start
time-delayed mowing", @ 14.3.
The mowing operation starts at the selected start time and
continues until the selected end time.
When the selected end time is reached, the robotic mower
travels to the perimeter wire and comes to a standstill.

► Return the machine to the docking station to recharge the
battery and confirm the displayed message, @ 21.1.
► To end an active mowing operation manually, press the
STOP button at any time.
If the robotic mower is discharged before the selected end
time, the mowing operation will be shortened accordingly.
17 Transporting
17.1 Transporting the Robotic Mower
When transporting the robotic mower:
► Always disable the robotic mower by pressing and holding
the STOP button for 5 seconds before lifting or
transporting.
► When transporting the robotic mower by hand, hold it by
the front and the rear handles with the mowing blade
pointing away from you. Never attempt to carry the robotic
mower by its flap.
► When transporting the robotic mower in a vehicle, position
and secure the robotic mower to prevent turnover, impact
and damage. Fasten the machine using suitable fastening
materials (straps, ropes) (see illustration above).
► Secure components being transported (e.g. docking
station, small components) to prevent turnover, impact
and damage.
