It may be started by either an electrical, diesel
or gasoline motor. If you purchase a piece of
equipment without motor, the accessories for the
right coupling are: a universal base, pulleys and
belts.
Shredders shall be perfectly leveled in both
directions. For greater stability and safety, it
is recommended to use the universal base,
comprised of rubber cushions that assure optimum
leveling of the equipment.
The universal base is provided with fixation points
dimensioned according to the trestle and to the
movable rails to fix the motor. Once the shredder
and the motor are placed on the universal base,
align the pulleys.
After that, fix the rubber cushions as shown in the
figure. Finally, place the belts which will have to
be stretched with the stretcher located at the base.

Universal Base Installation
For proper installation, observe the following
items:
For the electric motor to run properly, dimension
the power supply cables. For 5 cv motors, it
is recommended to use a deltastar switch to
start them. The model suggested is ETW (WEG
Acionamentos) or a similar one.
Before placing belts, check the direction of the
motor rotation.
