2. Re-tighten the hexagon socket screws
(19) to fasten the rip fence (1).
Dismantling is carried out in reverse order.
Attaching the crank
handle
Place the crank handle (3) on the holder
(20) on the device housing (11).
Mounting the chip
extractor
1. Loosen the small screw (22) on the left
and right latch (21).
2. If necessary, remove the collection con-
tainer with connection for external dust
extraction (16) from the discharge table
(14).
3. Set the planing table (23) to the lowest
position with the crank handle (3).
4. Slide the collection container with con-
nection for external dust extraction (16)
under the discharge table (14).
5. Insert the two latches (21) into the re-
cesses (13) on the right and left of the
discharge table (14).
If the latches are not inserted correctly,
the machine will not start.
6. Fix the two latches by screwing in the
small screws (22).
7. Attach an external chip extractor to the
collection container (16).
Make sure that the chip extractor
(e.g. Parkside wet & dry vacuum
cleaner) is suitable for the material to
be cut. This information can be found
in the operating instructions of the ex-
ternal device.
To dismantle, loosen the two small
screws (22). Then pull the latches (21) out
of the recesses (13) on the right and left of
the discharge table (14) and remove the
collection container (16).
Commissioning the
thicknesser
Remove the cross struts at-
tached to the table to secure
it for transport before using
the device for the fi rst time!
To use the machine as a thicknesser, re-
move the parallel guide and perform the
following assembly work.
Mounting the chip
extractor
1. Loosen the small screw (22) on the left
and right latch (21).
2. If necessary, remove the collection
container with connection for external
dust extraction (16) from under the dis-
charge table (14).
3. Loosen the star grip screw (2) and push
the planer blade cover (25) all the way
out.
4. Place the collection container (16) onto
the discharge table (14). The planer
blade (34) must be covered and the
latches (21) must engage into the re-
cesses (13) on the right and left of the
discharge table (14).
5. Insert the two latches (21) into the re-
cesses (13).
If the latches are not inserted correctly,
the machine will not start.
6. Fix the two latches by screwing in the
small screws (22).
7. Attach an external chip extractor to the
collection container (16).
Make sure that the chip extractor
(e.g. Parkside wet & dry vacuum
cleaner) is suitable for the material to
