Preparation
1. Unpack the device.

Initial startup
1. Check that the brush cover is cor-
rectly inserted and that all 3 twist
locks are closed.
Inserting the battery pack
1. Slide the battery pack into the bat-
tery holder and lock it in place.
Charging the battery pack

The battery pack is partially charged on
delivery. Charge before use and when
necessary.

The battery pack can only be charged
when it is removed from the vacuum.
1. Press the unlocking button and re-
move the battery pack.
2. Charge the battery pack according
to the operating instructions of the
charger manufacturer and the bat-
tery pack manufacturer.
Installing the fleece filter bag
Note
The bag cover can only be closed
when a filter bag is inserted.
1. Unlock and remove the bag cover.

2. Insert the flange of the fleece filter
bag into the mount and swivel it up-
wards.

3. Pull the opening of the fleece filter
bag over the suction connection as
far as it will go. The lock of the fleece
filter bag engages.

4. Insert the bag cover and engage it
audibly.

Switch on the device
1. Switch on the device at the main
switch.
Eco button (energy-saving mode): The
device works with reduced suction per-
formance. The battery run time is ex-
tended.
1. To activate Eco-mode: Actuate the
Eco button.
2. To switch off Eco-mode: Actuate the
Eco button repeatedly.
Adjusting the suction power
Note
Reduce the suction power at the con-
trol dial to reduce the pushing force on
deep-pile carpets. Close the suction
control again after working on high-pile
carpets, otherwise the brush motor
may not start.
1. Adjust the suction power (min-max)
via the rotary control.
