CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• This product requires periodical maintenance.
• Cleaning and maintenance operations must only be carried out
by an adult.
• Periodically inspect the reclined cradle to check for broken, torn or
missing parts: if present don't use the product.
• Please refer to the care label for instructions on washing the prod-
uct; to remove the cover, refer to the paragraph about the REMOV-
ABLE COVER.

ASSEMBLY
To install the reclining cradle on the Crescendo Up/Crescendo Lite
chair, the following operations must be carried out:
WARNING: the product is only com-
patible with Chicco Crescendo Up /
Crescendo Lite multi-use highchairs,
assembled without the accessory
feet.
1. Open the frame of the Crescendo Up/Lite seat, distancing the rear
legs until the end position is reached (Fig. 1).
2. Turn the lever and press the button located under the seat of the
Crescendo Up/Lite to bring the pins on the sides of the seat back
into place (Fig. 2)
3. Keeping the lever and the button pressed, position the horizontal
plane then release the lever and the release button allowing the
pins to connect to the appropriate holes on the rear leg (Fig. 3).
WARNING: Having completed this step, press lightly on the seat
area to ensure it is properly fastened.
4. Press the release button located under the seat of the Crescendo
Up/Lite (Fig. 4A) and, at the same time, turn the cover anticlockwise
(Fig. 4B). Next, remove the cover, placing your fingers through the
underlying holes for leverage (Fig. 5).
5. Position the reclined cradle "A" as shown in the illustration, and
insert the fastening base for the reclined cradle "A4" in the slots on
the seat area and rotate clockwise until a "clack" is heard confirm-
ing that it has locked into place (Fig. 6)
6. Position the Support for Backrest Attachment "A2" against the
backrest of the Crescendo seat (Fig. 7). Then, wrap the strap
around the backrest and fasten with the buckle "A1" (Fig. 78).
WARNING: Once this operation has been carried out, pull the top
part of the reclined cradle upwards to ensure that it is anchored
well.
7. To place the fabric on the seat, first release the safety harnesses by
pressing on the central button found on the crotch strap (Fig. 9)
8. Next, insert the safety harness straps in the appropriate slots on
the fabric "B", as shown in Fig. 10.
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The backrest can be reclined in 2 positions.
WARNING: Always check that the backrest is properly locked be-
fore use.
9. To adjust the angle of the backrest from the lying down to the
inclined position, press the button under the seat "A6", adjust the
incline and release the button to lock into the second position
as shown in (Fig. 11A) and (Fig.11B). This operation may also be
carried out with the child sitting in the reclined cradle, with the
safety harnesses fastened.
WARNING: The child's weight can make these operations more
difficult.
USING THE SAFETY HARNESS
WARNING: The safety harnesses and the crotch strap must be
used to guarantee the child's safety
